I was born and raised in Columbia, SC. I went to Claflin University, where I studied business management. Then later transferred to USC, where I am currently studying hospitality management.

I started as a part time floor staff in August 2022. I will never forget my first event with Southern Way. It was a USC football game, in the zone. I became an event manager full time about 6 months later, which I truly enjoy. I like that no event is the same. Being the final piece that ensures that our clients and their guest have an unforgettable experience is what I like most about my job.

If I had to pick a favorite type of event, I would have to choose weddings. I love the music and seeing the guest dancing, having a great time. But most of all, I love seeing the smiles on the couple’s face at the end of the event. I also enjoy house parties and social events.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also love to travel. I love exploring new places and just being away. Weekend getaways are my favorite.
