I started with Southern Way just before the world flipped upside down, working part-time as event floor staff. Since then, I've grown into a variety of roles-including bartender, event captain, suite wizard (yes, that's a real thing!), and logistics lead for USC athletics. In May, I stepped into my full-time role as Lead Logistics Coordinator, where I handle the behind-the-scenes planning and setup for events of all sizes-from SEC football games to small luncheons. I'm the calm in the storm on busy game days, and just one part of the incredible team that keeps everything running smoothly.
Though I wasn't born here, I've called South Carolina home since I was three and graduated with honors from Airport High School. I've owned and operated my own small residential cleaning business for over 10 years and have volunteered with our local youth recreation league, Midland Football & Cheer, since 2017, where I currently serve as Treasurer. I'm a proud mom of six and recently earned the title of "Bert" when my first grandson arrived-named years ago by my nephew who couldn't quite say Amber. (Yes, we fully embrace the *Bert and Poppa Ernie* duo.)
I love concerts, traveling, and floating down the Saluda River with my kids and friends. Some of the best friendships I've ever had have come from working at Southern Way. For a company this big, it still feels like home-and that's what makes it so special to me.
