I was born in Columbia, SC. I attended Airport high school from (2015-2019). During my senior year, I enrolled in their culinary program.
After I graduated from Airport I went to Johnson and Wales University. During my tenure there, my program required me to take an internship and hands down, I chose Southern Way Catering. After graduating, I was able to secure a full time position with the company. I started my career here in January of 2021 and I haven't looked back.
I love my job. I have not only gained knowledge of new cuisines and techniques, but I have also gained friendships. Though the hours are sometimes long, and tough, kitchen staff knows how to make time fly by.
In my free time, you can find me reading a good book. I am currently caught between reading the War of the Roses and the Left Behind Series. Occasionally, I enjoy watching baking shows. So, when I come across a tasty dessert on Facebook or if my parents see something they want to try I am always down for the challenge.
